Description

Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was/were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located south west of the village of Weston Turville, and centred at SP 85145 10195. These drainage ditches overlie and cut across earlier of ridge and furrow field systems to the south of West End and Manor Farm, Weston Turville. Some of these are possible former field boundaries, as lines of trees, visible on historic mapping. (1-4)
