Description
Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on the north side of the Grand Union Canal, between the canal and the airfield, Halton, and centred at SP 87260 10372. The ditches appear to be drainage ditches or may be features which predate the creation of the parkland and Halton in the late 19th century, these are not shown on historic mapping. (1-2)
