Description

Sub-rectangular pit, 1.5m long, 0.75m wide, and 0.15m deep, with a flattish base. 8 sherds of pottery were recovered. No diagnostic material to provide a clear date. Only a broad Early Neolithic to Iron Age date can be attributed. 2 Struck flints were also recovered with unworked burnt material suggesting the use of heated stones for cooking or heating, or other industrial processes (B1)
