Description
Ditches of probable medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located at Drayton Beauchamp and centred at SP 89945 12587. These ditches include drainage ditches across and around areas of ridge and furrow field systems and former boundary ditches of earlier boundaries of possible shrunken settlement at Drayton Beauchamp. They are parallel to existing boundaries close to the settlement at Drayton Beauchamp. (1-2)
