Description

Drainage ditches of probable modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on the north side of the airfield at Halton, and centred at SP 87233 11669. These ditches are parallel to the field boundaries and are approximately 2m wide and 50m long. They are not visible on 1945 photographs, clearly visible in 1949, and not on Google earth 2003, nor are they visible on lidar visualisations. (1-3)
