BARBED AND TANGED FLINT ARROWHEAD FOUND BY MRS WRIGHT, CHALFONT ST GILES. IN HER GARDEN. (BIBL 1,2,3) FOUND AT DEPTH C. 1M.



A barbed and tanged flint arrow head was found in 1965 by Mrs Wright when digging in the garden at Hay House, Narcott Lane, SU 98759244 (B2)

The precise findspot of the arrowhead was pointed out by Mrs Wright at SU 9872 9250 in the back garden of Hay House (b5). It was found at a depth of c1.0m when excavating a fishpond. Mrs Wright retains it (B4).
