Description
Dimensions - Length 2350m.
Plan Form - Linear.
'Grims Ditch' between NGRs (B1).
Section cut through at SP92360906 by N Davis, of Aldbury & others. Site on brickearth. Excavation showed possible palislade slot on S edge of ditch. IA(?) sherd found (see report, filed). Excavation too limited to date earthwork (B2-4).
Further discussion. Ditch section at Hastoe drawn (B4).
