Description
Drainage ditches of post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located approximately 700m west of World’s End, Wendover, and centred at SP 85240 09126. Ditches are cut across and around an area of ridge and furrow and are crossed by the railway. Underlying geology is Upper Greensand Mudstone and Siltstone, no superficial deposits are recorded. (1-2)
