Description

A series of field boundaries identified during a watching brief. One large ditch aligned roughly E-W was c154m long. A section of ditch ran 50m south before turning east [This section of ditch is visible on 1st ed OS map. The large E-W ditch is not visible but is probably a continuation of the ditch shown on the 1st ed OS exending to the west]. A separate section of ditch was observed at the southern extent of the watching brief area but extending beyond the limits (B1).
