Description

Harrison and Sons Ltd, were government printers, providing confidential and secure printing services of official documents, passports, licences, postage stamps and bank notes. Initially based at 45-46 St Martin's Lane in London, in 1911 they set up a branch at Hayes in Middlesex, and in 1933 another branch at High Wycombe, which became the main focus of the business. The Harrison family connection with the company came to an end in 1979 when the firm was taken over by Lonrho. It was taken over again by De La Rue International Ltd in 1997 (B2).
