Description

In 1872 the 'Swan' was recorded as having been first licenced in 1848. The licencee was William Brooks and the owner was E M M Lucas of Rowsham (B1).
The Swan Inn is marked as a public house on the 1880 1st edition OS map and on subsequent 25-inch and 6-inch OS maps (B2).
