Description

In 1872 the 'Neptune' was recorded as having been first licenced in 1833. The licencee was Henry Fairman and the owner was Sir Thomas Fremantle of Swanbourne (B1).
The Neptune is marked as a public house on the 1880 1st edition 25-inch OS map but not on the 1899 2nd edition 25-inch OS map, so presumably had closed (B2).
