Description

THE BRITISH MUSEUM POSSESSES A LARGE NUMBER OF LBA WEAPONS & IMPLEMENTS FROM THE RIVER THAMES AT TAPLOW. A LARGE COLLECTION WAS PRESENTED BY MRS ADA BENSON, MILLSTREAM, TAPLOW. THE BM ALSO HAS A HOARD OF SOCKETED AXES FROM BRAY LISTED, BUT IT IS NOT CLEAR IF THIS IS A RIVER FIND (B5-8,B12,B14).
