Description

BRASSES OF NICHOLAS WEST & WIFE, JOAN, (1586 & 1585) & OF WILLIAM WEST, 1583, BOTH FOUND TO BE PALIMPSEST. FIRST IS PROBABLY GERMAN, LATE C15, BODY OF PRIEST. 2ND IS FROM 3 FLEMISH BRASSES; 5 MORE ARE AT WALKERN, HERTS & ARE OF VAN LAUWR FAMILY, 1474 (B8, B12).
NGR TO SOUTH CHAPEL (B10).
