Description

Two parallel sinuous earthwork banks and two ditches of uncertain date and function are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located adjacent The Moors and centred at SP 90076 31245, two parallel sinuous earthwork banks up to 5 metres wide and 25 metres apart, being 102 metres and 77 metres long and aligned SW-NE. Some 53 metres to the NW are two curving parallel ditches 100 metres and 102 metres long and up to 7.5 metres wide, joined by a perpendicular short section of ditch, forming an H-figure (1-3).
