Iron Age and/or Roman rectilinear ditched enclosures and linear features of uncertain date are visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field about 670 metres WNW of Rowley Hill and centred at SP 69023 30800, a subrectangular ditch up to 2.5 metres forms a C-shaped enclosure that encloses an internal area about 39 metres NNW-SSW, with the WSW facing side open. Some 63 metres to the S a rectangular ditch about 1.5 metres encloses an internal area about 16.5 metres NW-SE and 13 metres SW-NE, with part of the SW and NW facing sides missing due to tractor lines in the crop. Some 130 metres to the E is a possible subrectangular ditch are a number of parallel linear ditches aligned roughly W-E and NW-SE that may be associated (1).
