Description

A post medieval mound of uncertain function is visible on remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located within Middle Salden Wood and centred at SP 82700 30630, a circular mound about 9 metres in diameter is sited on top of a block of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation earthworks, suggesting a post-medieval date or later. Its function is unclear (1)
