Description

A watercourse and trackway of possible medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 550m south west of Old End, Padbury, and centred at SP 71102 30317. A sinuous watercourse between the Padbury Brook and an area of ridge and furrow at the south end of the village, which appears to be present on a 1591 map of Padbury, and may be a continuation of the watercourse mapped at the southern end of the village, between Norberye and Old End (see MBC14865), where it continues around an area of ridge and furrow.
