Description

A linear bank of probable medieval date but uncertain function is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as levelled earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field about 110 metres NE of Merrymead and centred at SP 83335 28172, a linear earthwork bank is about 15 metres wide and 203 metres NW-SE (1).
