Description

A linear feature, possibly a former boundary, of medieval/post-medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located behind houses, on the north side of the watercourse, on Back Street, Thornborough, and centred at SP 74252 33820. This linear feature may be a former boundary on the north side of the watercourse. Lidar visualisations do not show any earthworks but this may have been obscured by the deposition of alluvium along the watercourse. (1-2)
