Description

An area of shrunken settlement of medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the north side of Chapel Lane, Thornborough, and centred at SP 74635 33710. Earthworks of former plot boundaries and possible platforms can be seen on aerial photographs and lidar visualisations, although modern development has removed some of these. (1-2)
