Description

A trackway of medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at the eastern end of Chapel Lane, Thornborough, and centred at SP 74634 33638. This trackway continues the east-west line of Chapel Lane within the current layout of the village of Thornborough. It is followed by a footpath on the Ordnance Survey Epoch 1 map. (1-2)
