Description

Former boundaries of medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located south of the village at Thornborough and centred at SP 74365 33438. Boundaries that run between areas of ridge and furrow earthworks and along the northern edge of a former trackway south of the village of Thornborough, they form plots of similar size along the trackway. Boundaries shown on Ordnance Survey Epoch 1 map fit in with the same. (1-3)
