Description

A trackway of medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 480m south west of Adstock Fields Farm, Adstock, and centred at SP 74701 30461. The trackway is visible as a sunken trackway between areas of ridge and furrow at the southern end but banks on either side are visible further to the north. The parish of Adstock was inclosed in 1798 and roads and paths were likely rerouted at this time. (1-2)
