Description
Drainage ditches of post medieval date are partially visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the south side of the River Great Ouse, approximately 400m west of Maids Moreton Mill, Buckingham, and centred at SP 471328 234356. Drainage ditches on the north side of ridge and furrow earthworks south of the River Great Ouse, on the flood plain. They are still clearly visible on lidar visualisations. (1-2)
