Description

Burnt surface identified during trial trench evaluation. Surface included burnt tile and handmade brick, nails, coal, and 18th-19th century pottery sherds. Western limit of the spread coincides with a former field boundary. Although no structural remains were identified, it may have formed a surface to a post-medieval vernacular agricultural building (B1).
