Description

A rectangular platform of uncertain date and function is visible on remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located within Oak Wood and centred at SP 91267 28970, a rectangular platform is about 18 metres N-S and 21 metres W-E. Whilst now obscured by the tree canopy of Oak Wood, on the 1884 dated 1st Edition OS map this feature lay on the eastern boundary of an open area of rough grassland or heath (1-2).
