Description

Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the south side of Padbury Brook, Padbury and centred at SP 72396 32433. These drainage ditches have been infilled and not visible on modern aerial photographs or lidar visualisations; these are also not shown on the 1591 map of Padbury but would have been in a field called Hedge Meade on the floodplain of the Padbury Brook.
