Description

A ring ditch of probable later prehistoric date is visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 450m south east of Grange Farm, Padbury, and centred at SP 72897 31024. Cropmark of a ring ditch, more of an oval in shape and measuring 20x25m, is visible on aerial photographs. Romano British finds have been recorded to the north (see MBC22407) and a further ring ditch is visible to the north (see MBC45220). (1).
