Description

A subrectangular enclosure of probable Iron Age/Romano British date is visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 500m south of Grange Farm, Padbury and centred at SP 72767 30923. Cropmark shows three sides of a possible enclosure close to the field boundary. Cropmark does not show on many aerial photographs; it measures approximately 20m across. Romano British finds are recorded to the north and two ring ditches are visible nearby see MBC22407, MBC45221 and MBC45222 (1)
