Description

A subrectangular enclosure of uncertain date is visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 440m west of Coombs Farm, Buckingham and centred at SP 72818 32361. Three sides of the enclosure, measuring 45m across, are visible as cropmarks in an arable field. There are no ridge and furrow earthworks or cropmarks across this field although there is evidence of this in adjoining fields. (1-2)
