Description
Linear features of uncertain date are visible on historic aerial photographs as extant cropmarks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 670m north east of Lenborough Farm, Gawcott with Lenborough and centred at SP 70741 30704. Linear features are probable field boundaries and track/drove ways; they are not shown on any historical mapping available to the project. Trackways, one is 10m wide and the other 16m wide, join at right angles and other linear features are parallel to these, which may be field boundaries. No ridge and furrow earthworks are visible on this area. (1-2)
