A medieval and/or post-medieval square platform and boundary ditch is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field adjacent Chadwell Farm and centred at SP 87184 30711, a 19 metres square platform is bounded by a ditch up to 3 metres wide. The platform and ditch is abutted on the SW side by a block of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation earthworks. The function of the platform is uncertain (1-2).
