Description

Trial trenching revealed a high frequency of intercutting features, possibly forming enclosure or boundary ditches, pits, and trackways. They likey form a Romano-British rural settlement. May have formed a coaxial field system, used for agriculture or as livestock paddocks. The number of intercutting features suggests a long-lived settlement (B1).
