Description

A linear feature of probable medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant levelled earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located near Willow Wood Barn (formerly Lower Farm), Leckhampstead, and centred at SP 73941 37087. Linear feature, probably a former trackway or ditch, between two areas of ridge and furrow, to the south of an area of shrunken settlement in an area where concentrations of medieval pottery were found as part of fieldwalking for the Whittlewood Project.
