Description

Linear drainage ditches and an earthwork bank of probable post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the west side of the river, Akeley, and centred at SP 71452 38746. These earthworks are at the edge of an area of ridge and furrow earthworks, between these and the meandering course of the river. Further ditches and water channels are visible to the north of these.
