Description

Two drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the south side of the River Great Ouse, Thornton, and centred at SP 73928 35499. These two ditches are on the flood plain of the river between arable fields and the river, approximately 400m north east of Thornborough Mill. (1-2)
