Description

A boundary bank and a drainage ditch of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located close to an area of shrunken settlement near Weatherhead Farm, Leckhampstead and centred at SP73580 37339. These features are between two areas of shrunken settlement at South End, Leckhampstead, between Weatherhead Farm and Willow Wood Barn (the site of Lower End farm/Limes End farm) and probably relate to boundaries associated with very dispersed settlement at Leckhampstead.
