Description

A ditch of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 170m west of Lodge Farm, Church End, Leckhampstead, and centred at SP 72086 38294. Ditch on the edge of areas of ridge and furrow earthworks; it is at the southern end of a gap between areas of ridge and furrow, and is possibly a former trackway, where Superficial Deposits of Head are recorded overlying solid Geology of White Limestone.
