Description

A ditch probable post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 500m south west of Thornton College, Thornton, and centred at SP 74893 35753. Ditch is parallel to field existing boundary but is not shown on Ordnance Survey Epoch 1 map, except it occurs between two clumps of trees on the same. Visible as a cropmark on modern aerial photographs; land use is arable. (1-3)
