Description
Two short ditches of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant levelled earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 370m north west of The Rectory, Akeley, and centred at SP 70337 37674. Possibly drainage ditches from areas of ridge and furrow or a trackway. Field has been ploughed and the earthworks are less clear on lidar visualisations; the land use remains as grass. (1-2)
