Description

An extractive pit of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Weatherhead Farm, Leckhampstead, and centred at SP 73421 37451. Sub circular extractive pit 15x20m in size and cut in to White Limestone. (1-2)
