Description

Ditches of uncertain date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the south side of Lovel Wood, Lillingstone Lovell, and centred at SP 70635 41793. Two ditches forming a V shape, around a slightly higher piece of land, are visible on aerial photographs outside the woodland an on lidar visualisations within the woodland. The ditch outside the woodland has been levelled and modern land use is paddocks.
