Description
Former field boundary of probable medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 250m south east of Lovelwood Farm, Lillingstone Lovell and centred at SP 70686 41566. The ordnance Survey Epoch 1 map shows some trees on this line, like it is a former field boundary, a couple of these remain in 1947. Modern land use is arable by 1968 and the earthwork has been ploughed level. (1-3)
