Description

Mesolithic flint working site or temporary camp suggested by a concentration of finds of flint debitage and tools found whilst metal-detecting. Site is located on the south side of a possible palaeochannel of the River Ouse (see CASS 06209). There are a small number of additional Mesolithic flint tools and debitage in the two adjacent fields to the west and north-west (B1).
