Description

A post-medieval or early 20th century drainage ditch system is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on meadows north of Padbury Brook and centred at SP 63513 27640, a linear drain between 2 and 3.5 metres wide extends about 2,235 metres from Stratton Audley Mill to Moat Farm, where it connects to a larger drain. On aerial photographs taken in 2019 and recent remote sensing data, part of the linear ditch remain extant, the remainder having been plough levelled (1-4).
