Description
A circular mound of uncertain date and function is visible on remote sensing data as shallow earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field about 175 metres NNW of Fields Barn Farm and centred at SP 62711 35522, a circular mound is about 20 metres in diameter. Historic aerial photographs taken in 1942 and 1961 do suggest a circular feature at that location, indicating that it is likely not a modern feature (1-3).
