Description
Medieval village shrinkage is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in fields east of Dadford village and centred at SP 67006 38346, a series of irregularly shaped earthwork platforms and irregular interconnected terraces extend about 200 metres SW-NE, set out on either side of what may be a hollow way, but which was later repurposed as a post-medieval deer park boundary ditch (1-2 ).
