Description
A sinuous section of medieval hollow way is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in fields south of Chackmore village and centred at SP 68702 35602, a broad hollow way between 3 and 8 metres wide extends from Main Street NNW-SE for about 300 metres. On aerial photographs taken in 2019 and recent remote sensing data, the earthworks have been levelled (1-3).
