Description
A section of medieval hollow way is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field south of Chackmore village and centred at SP 68582 35690, a broad hollow way extends from Main Street NNW-SSE for about 93 metres, widening from 8 to 14 metres over that distance. On aerial photographs taken in 2019 the earthworks remain extant (1-3).
